Job Title: Senior Sales Manager


As a key member of the Management Team, the Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the planning, leading, managing and overseeing of all sales-related activities of the company, which includes the Nissan and Infiniti Sales departments as per standards & procedures of the company and principals. The Senior Sales Manager must achieve the targets set both in terms of volume and profitability and ensure the highest customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that the staff are highly motivated to meet and exceed the set objectives. The Senior Sales Manager also works closely with the following departments; Human Resources, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, After-Sales and other sales teams for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of first-class customers’ experience.

The Senior Sales Manager will lead a team of approximately 60 persons.


  • Liaises with Sales Managers/Head of Sales to implement action plan for achieving sales revenue, turnover in terms of units and gross profits targets.
  • Conducts sales and business analytics on the performance of the sales department ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of monthly/quarterly reports to Top management and/or Board of Directors in order to present sales strategies by identifying opportunities in the competitive environment.
  • Assesses the amount of resources required by the sales department in order to achieve optimal performance, leading to financial benefit for the business. Additionally, coaches and mentors Sales Managers and subordinates for the achievement of objectives.
  • Tracks and monitors sales activities and creates reports to the Management for use in strategic decision making.
  • Maximises on sales opportunities by keeping the sales department and the business at par with the latest trends and best practices, giving the business a competitive edge and solidifying its position as a market leader.
  • Partners with the marketing department in ensuring that strategies and objectives are aligned, ensuring that marketing initiatives support sales efforts and that these strategies are all aligned to the business’s overall objectives.
  • Responsible in the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders together with the principals especially regarding the implementation of standards and procedures regarding sales operations, (S-DOS, NSSW, N-CAM) and other processes.
  • Develops and builds relationships and partnerships by being attentive, service-oriented, friendly, helpful, and courteous to customers, colleagues, external stake holders.
  • Performs any other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Management.


  • Mature and pro-active leader with demonstrated excellence and skills in managing sales, public relations, budgeting, analysis, controls and reporting.
  • Master’s degree in sales and marketing/management or any equivalent qualifications acceptable by the Management.
  • 5 years experience within a complex and fast-paced business environment and a minimum of 3 years of Senior Leadership role at Management level. Previous experience in the automotive sector will be preferred.
  • Hands-on and proactive management style.
  • Excellent analytical, interpreting and modelling skills coupled with a good understanding of financial information, key business drivers and economics.
  • Communication skills are a must have for this position, in both verbal and written form coupled with excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly.
  • Highly proficient in Ms Word and PowerPoint, which are necessary for the creation of visually, and verbally engaging reports and presentations for senior sales management, external partners, sales personnel, support departments, and stakeholders.
  • Responsive and timely, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
